Separate resident needs from crew needs
Tell us whether residents, contractors, or both will use the unit and whether any functioning bathrooms remain.
Choose a position people can actually reach
Consider nighttime access, lighting, privacy, and a level route from the home. Explain gates, narrow side yards, loose ground, and utility lines before delivery. Ask about accessible equipment when a standard unit would not meet a user’s needs.
Plan washing and supplies as part of the rental
Ask whether the setup needs a separate handwashing station or an interior sink. Confirm water, soap, towels, toilet paper, and replenishment. A crew working on the property may have different washing requirements from the household.
Leave room for the repair schedule to change
Ask whether the quote is an event-style short rental or a 28-day arrangement. If work runs late, contact the rental team before the agreed end. Confirm pickup explicitly rather than assuming the repair completion date triggers removal.
