Choose a stable, usable position
Identify level, firm ground and a route people can use. Explain soft sand, loose gravel, slopes, or surfaces that could change with weather. Ask for a placement assessment before relying on vehicle access across soft ground.
Measure the narrowest point
Measure gates and turns, and note overhead obstructions. One unit was described at approximately 47 inches wide, while the same delivery discussion needed about 11 feet of vehicle clearance. These measurements describe different things and were specific to that job.
Think about the last day, too
The used unit needs to remain reachable for pumping and loading. Keep parked vehicles, construction materials, and event equipment away from the service route. A location reachable only before the party furniture arrives may not work for collection.
Record the delivery instructions
Mark the approved position with a cone or sign if agreed. Include gate arrangements, a site contact, and a backup number. An advance call can be requested, but keep the agreed arrival window available instead of treating that request as a guaranteed appointment.
Check weather and permission
