Choose capacity around actual use
Tell us attendance, event duration, and whether food is being served. Ask how many washing points the proposed station provides and how water and supplies will be replenished. Quote the station with the toilets so delivery and servicing can be planned together.
Supplies matter as much as the station
Ask who provides the initial water, soap, and towels, what gets replenished at service visits, and how to request an extra refill. Hand sanitizer and a water-and-soap washing station serve different needs; do not assume one substitutes for the other on a job site.
California job-site washing rules
California Title 8 §1527 generally calls for one washing station for each twenty employees or fraction, with water, cleansing supplies, and a way to dry hands. Where paired with a nonwater carriage toilet, it generally must be outside and unattached; check the limited small-crew exception in the official standard.
