A cycle is four weeks
A 28-day rental period lasts four weeks. A shorter project may still use a full first period, so confirm any partial-period pricing before booking. Ask for the date the cycle starts and the next renewal date.
Read the first and recurring charges separately
In the school-project call, the initial charge was $262.60 plus $15.95 stated tax, giving a confirmed payment of $278.55. Pickup remained a separate $29 charge. A later cycle was quoted at $219.95, but its tax treatment was unclear. Those are historical call details, not a current universal rate.
Do not combine unrelated quotes
Compare the equipment, rental period, delivery, service, tax and pickup together. A recurring equipment charge may exclude one-time delivery or removal costs. Use one itemized written quote for your site and dates.
Put recurring payment and service in writing
Ask whether payment renews automatically, what notice is sent, and which service visits are included. If the crew or shift pattern changes, review the service frequency and any extra charges before the next cycle.
End the rental explicitly
